Congratulations to Brittany Brownlee, recipient of the 2020 McClure PTSA Susan Wing Scholarship!  
Named after Mrs. Susan Wing, the first principal of McClure Middle School, the scholarship is awarded each year to a graduating senior who attended McClure and who has exemplified and continues to build on the four words that served as the foundation for McClure during Mrs. Wing's tenure - Enthusiasm, Excellence, Ingenuity, and Encouragement.  
A senior at Harrison High School, Brittany ranks in the top 5% of her class.  In addition to excelling in the classroom, Brittany participates in countless community service and leadership activities.  She’s active in Cobb Youth Leadership, Beta Club, Spanish Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and Key Club.  She’s received numerous honors and distinctions including AP Scholar with Honor Award, Scholar Athlete Award, and Excellence in Spanish Award.  She’s also a member of the Varsity Soccer Team at Harrison.  Brittany plans to attend the Georgia Institute of Technology and major in Industrial Engineering and Spanish.
